I have Tracked my package (or attempted to) and I think there is an issue.
UPS recognized my tracking number and gave me a response.
When I track my Order with UPS I get the following info:
UPS Tracking says "Billing information Received" - But no other scans are showing up.
It's been 2 business days now, since the billing info was received, and 5 business days since the order was placed, with no additional scans...
It's been less than 2 bussiness days since the billing info was received or less than 5 business days since the order was placed.

This usually indicates an exception of some type, most often loss or damage, but every now and then the package just misses scanning. The likelyhood is high that we'll be able to help expedite the recovery process and get a replacement out sooner rather than later if that's what is needed.

UPS Tracking says the Address is Undeliverable or has a problem
That's never a good thing. No worries though, we'll see what's up and get a resolution underway. First we need to determine if the address given when the order was placed was exactly right and complete in every way.

UPS Tracking says the package has been delivered but I have not received it.
I have physically walked outside of my house and checked all the clever UPS hiding places: Behind the planter, Under the door mat, On the side porch, beneath the overgrown shrubbery, and I'm SURE it is not anywhere on my property.
If you live in University housing or in an aparment complex UPS will sometimes leave packages with the front desk rather than deliverying them to your door. If you live in an area that has a front desk that could receive packages please check with them to make sure they are not holding anything for you.

I've checked at the front desk of my Apartment complex and they were not holding it OR I live in a house and this doesn't apply
I've also checked my neighbors porch to make sure it wasn't delivered there by accident. (This really happens - it's much quicker to get it from them than to file a claim with UPS.)

UPS Tracking says the package has been damaged in transit.
UPS Tracking says 3 attempts were made and nobody was available to sign
We do not request signature confirmation on packages, however, if UPS or FedEx has ever had problems with stolen packages at an address (even if it occured before you lived there) they will require a signature upon delivery. After three delivery attempts with nobody to sign for it, it's their policy to return the package to the sender. When this happens they do not notify us or refund the shipping amount.

Let's make sure that your tracking number isn't for UPS Mail Innovations. Their tracking numbers are very similar to the post office numbers. The best way to tell is to try the tracking number on the Mail Innovations Site and see if it works (only the correct carrier will recognize the tracking number).

Tracking says the Address is Undeliverable
Tracking says the package has been delivered but I have not received it.
This is almost always because the post office is holding your package at your local post office. Please check with them and see of they have anything waiting for your address. Before you contact them you'll want to make certain it hasn't been delivered to your location. In addition to looking in the mail box, please also check around your front and side doors. The post office doesn't hide packages as well as UPS does but some mail people can be pretty sneaky. If you have a neighbor that sometimes gets your packages by mistake you might check with them. Also, don't forget to ask roomates, parents, siblings, anyone that might have put it in a "safe place" for you. =]

No dice. I checked with my local post office, around my doors and porches, even with my neighbors and room mates, it's just not here.
Tracking says the package is being returned to sender.
There are a few reasons this can happen. Sometimes the package gets damaged in transit, sometimes the adress is incorrect or incomplete. In any case we need to know about it so we can minimize the time it will take to get you a replacement. Tracking doesn't indicate any problems but I believe the package should have already arrived.
My package only contained tools, beads and other light items so the total weight was likely under 13oz and I did not choose Priority Mail. (Select this option if you chose Free Shipping or Flat Rate Shipping)
Add handling time (3 business days) and transit time (14 business days) This comes to a shocking 17 business days** before your order can be determined to be late. The good news is that it rarely takes this long. In fact, many times we see first class delivered in less than 12 business days. I tried to track my package but the carrier had no record of my shipment at all.
80% of the time the problem is a UPS Mail Innovation shipment so we'll try that first.

Ok, no worries. If enough time has passed for tracking information to get updated (4 business days) there is a chance that Mail Innovations is not the carrier either.
Fortunately Google can automatically tell at UPS tracking number from a Post Office tracking number and help us track it. (Google still doesn't recognize Mail Innovations tracking numbers but we've already checked that out)
